Bother.

I did my due diligence, checked the earthquake shaking maps when we bought the house, made sure it wasn’t in a liquefaction zone... and now, they do a more detailed geological survey and it turns out we’re in one after all. At least we’re only a couple of blocks from the edge of the zone; I’m very glad we’re not closer to the Bay.

Color me evil. We're on a nice, safe, stable hill. Everything around us is green, but not here. To mutilate a line from Braveheart "The Almighty tells me he can get me out of this mess, but he's pretty sure Willow Glen is fucked."

Still, green stuff isn't that bad. Blue... now, blue is bad. I used to live in a blue zone. They closed my old Jr. high campus because they discovered a branch from the San Andreas fault ran right under the soccer field.
