More things they don't tell you about home ownership

It’s important to have a competent massage therapist to call upon when you pull a muscle vacuuming the ceiling. (Cathedral ceilings look nice, but are extra effort to maintain... fortunately, we can get polearm extensions for R2.)

Went to a professional conference for academic advisors here in SB, and those lovely, utterly civilized conference coordinators had a massage seminar. I found out from the seminar instructor that one of the local schools that trains massage therapists has reduced-cost clinics where you can get a massage from a student who's logged at least 100 hours of instruction time. (kind of like saving money on a hair cut by getting it cut at the beauty school) The very competent therapist that led our meeting is really good, and she's got a schedule opening... I might be looking her up!
