Down the rabbit hole...

I’ve never been a big fan of surveillance, and really wasn’t thrilled at the idea of public life turning into a panopticon, but I have to admit, I’m really enjoying the new Vigilance Against Stupidity laws. Just this morning, some idiot parked their SUV taking two spaces at the monorail station, so I organized some fellow commuters to tip the thing over on its side and skid the thing across the asphalt so it fit in one space. We had a thumbs-up from the police monitor and the online jury in under three minutes; no one even missed a train.
I do my part as well. Just the other day, I had the pleasure of giving my approval to some upstanding youths who found a hooligan attempting to “tag” Sunnyvale’s dirigible docking tower and proceeded to cover the offender with his own spray paint.
It looks like people have noticed that study that showed a correlation between practicing aikido and approval of vigilantes. My dojo has so many new students that they’ve added more classes to the schedule!
