A chance to speak up for LJ’s direction

Got a notification in feedback that pointed out that there’s a poll in suggestions for features to add to LJ in 2008. My #1 was killfiles, #2 was journal searching, #3 was distinct icons for specially protected posts.

And the top three things that will be implemented?

1. More resources for flagging adult stuff
2. More user icons
3. More being ignored by the LJ staff

Of course, they will insist that all of those were popularly requested. No, you can't read the poll results.

We need to teach Jassa the word for "BOOBIES!" in Russian and point out some Russian webcomic feeds. That should get the killfile implemented pronto.
