A colleague of mine just switched to the Technology Credit Union. Anyone have experience with them?

I've used them since 2000. I like them a good bit. I'd shop elsewhere for loans or CDs -- the rates aren't remarkably competitive -- but for low-to-no-bullshit banking they get the job done.

I'm curious to see what you learn about Tech CU. I've been a member over at KeyPoint CU for years. I like that they have a branch office nearby in Sunnyvale. I don't like that their online banking is a bit primitive; they don't support transfers out, which every other online banking service I've used in the past 5 years does.

Been there a year, so far so good. Be aware that if you get a credit card through them, it's actually through a third party they work with, and not actually with the credit union.

I haven't done a home or car loan with them, but for straightforward bangking they are fine.
