I do take a certain joy in nuking spammers.  Ever since I wired up bogofilter to my mail client, Ximian Evolution, it's been getting easier, too.  It took a while to train bogofilter (since I only get about a dozen spam messages a day), but it's pretty reliably recognizing a good two-thirds of the incoming spam based on statistical resemblances to other spam-- no black hole lists, no nothing.

Still, I'm looking forward to the day when we eventually tighten up the E-mail protocols to make spamming completely impractical.
