A big part of the Kingdom of Loathing game is the way that different items can be combined to produce other ones: for example, you can fight bums in the alley, and sometimes wind up with a bum cheek for a victory prize, and combining two bum cheeks gets you an asshat, which is headgear.

One useful item is anticheese, which can be combined with goat cheese to create a goat (which is a familiar), or with cottage cheese to create a cottage (which you can place on your campsite).

The other day at game, I speculated that they might add a monster that drops a silver platter, and another that drops head cheese. At that point, you get a number of interesting possibilities: combining an asshat with a silver platter ought to get you the moon on a silver platter, (This could be useful as a bribe to get in to battle the Naughty Sorceress, one of the biggest villains in the game.) Combining head cheese and anticheese should provide a severed head, which, combined with the silver platter, would produce a head on a platter, which might be a useful bribe if you have a run-in with a penguin mafioso.

I then speculated that combining the head on a platter with seven knob goblin harem veils would be good for producing salami, and got a groan from several folks. It’s good to have friends who appreciate one’s horrid jokes.
